Latest Updates from Our Project:
All the pieces together, finally!

Dear backers,
on track with our latest plan shared in the previous update, we finally hold in our hands the components that are being manufactured by WinGo Games in this exact moment! All the games will leave WinGo Games factory in China at the end of the month, then they will be travelling all around the globe to get to you.
Here are some pics from District Games office, we are so happy that Zero Gravity game has finally come true!
The board perfectly folds (which is amazing, considering the magnetic layer embedded into it), the minis stick to every side of the arena (we have in our hands gray minis , but the game has a different color for each team in the version being manufactured), cards / tokens / team sheets and rules look great.
And the box is really huge (and heavy!!), ready to keep >80 minis and a ton of magnetic components!
No more words, simply a huge "thank you" for your support, trust and patience. It took us more then expected, but here we go with it:
Closer and closer to the completion! :)

Dear backers,
Zero Gravity game is finally seeing the light, with all the components being put together and packed in the next weeks. WinGo Games, our manufacturing partner based in China, sent us some pics from the minis that came out of the production phase and gave us the updated packaging and shipping timeline, from which we expect to have the entire set of Kickstarter orders out of the factory by September 30th2019 – and in a matter of days or weeks (based on your location and shipping process speed) in your hands!
Our next update will cover the shipping process, we want to give you a good sense of how we are setting up every step and how we will breakdown the overall complexity.
In the meanwhile, here you can find some of the minis, did you already decide which team you want to use first?
As few of you already did, please contact us by email ([email protected]) if you expect to change your address in the next weeks. We are already providing our shipping agent with the list of addresses in order to optimize the delivery.
As soon as the first boxes will be ready for whipping we will send you an ubboxing video preview!
Looking forward to completing the project and having your feedback on Zero Gravity!

Injection molding: done! Production: ok!

Dear all,
we are close to the completion of the miniatures production - and we are very happy with the result, that we are keen to share with you in the following lines!
A little summary of what is going on: the final design was adjusted and validated by WinGo team in March, then prototyping was completed in April and the master miniatures (once approved by District Games) were used to create the molds, which were completed in June and finally used to scale the production of the final miniatures and components that are now ready to be packed once the box and arena will be ready!
Here you can find an overview of some of the molds that WinGo manufactured and used to print Zero Gravity miniatures:
And then, finally: the first pics of the miniatures ready to be packed!
Now that the toughest part is done we are pushing to get the rest of the components together (arena, tokens, rules..) and be ready to ship the game, already negotiating with the shipping agents for the fulfillment. We are late, but we are happy with the quality of the outcome and we are making our best to get the game out in the upcoming weeks.
In case you changed your address vs. the one you put in the pledge manager, please contact us at [email protected] to be sure that we have your latest address, since we are currently negotiating shipping agreements.
Thank you for your help and support!

Molds, minis and artwork - some pics for you!

Dear backers,
here we go with a new update on Zero Gravity production! The injection molding phase run a bit slower than expected, but everything is going very well in terms of quality of the outcome - which is our overall priority. Nevertheless we are pushing as hard as we can to complete the production in the upcoming weeks, in order to be able to ship the game as soon as possible!
Creating a new mold is a fascinating activity, with a tremendous impact on final quality and details of the miniatures. That's why we wanted to be sure that the results was outstanding, even if this implied some delay.
How does a mold comes to life? As we showed you in the previous updates, prototyping phase allows the "master miniatures" to be created, than such miniatures are used to shape a mold able to scale up the production to hundreds/thousands of copies.
There's no shortcut for such operation, here you may understand why:
In parallel, we already started the production of the artwork, spanning from the arena to the rulesheet.
Here a brief sample of how the rulesheet will look like!
And here a small behind-the-scene on how the printing files for the box cover look like!
We are thoroughly working to ensure no mistakes and top quality on this ambitious project and game. As we briefly mentioned in the comments, we are also working on an online tool to help all of you to get in contact with other players close to you, with the aim of providing you not only with a great game, but with the greatest gaming experience we could possibly deliver!

Prototype miniatures: pics and videos for you!
– Fri, May 03, 2019 at 12:04:04 AM
Dear backers,
a brief update to share with you some details on how the prototyping and manufacturing phase are moving forward. First of all: we are learning a lot and the interaction with WinGo Games team in China is awesome.
Their team has been reviewing each miniature to optimize the details, weight, gaps and position in order to have stable, solid (and manufacturable!) miniatures at the end of the process.
Just to give you an example, this is the kind of job they have been doing:
Can you see the little gap that there was behind the left foot of the runner and that was taken out by the manufacturing team? This little detail could have undermined the robustness of the basis, therefore their revision was crucial.
Here below some more examples in which their job was to split the single miniature in multiple parts: such parts will be printed with 3D printing machines and then used to create the production molds.
And now, we're happy to share with you the result: some videos of the 3D printed parts that are now being used to produce the molds that will then allow WinGo to manufacture the game at scale!
We will be back soon with further updates, our current focus is on finalizing the artwork...you will get some preview next week!
